Attributes and filters
Brand, color, weight, material — how to describe a product and give buyers filters on the storefront.

What an attribute is
You create an attribute once and it’s available on every product in the store. All attributes live under “Catalog” → “Attributes”.
Types
- “List” — one value from a list: brand, size.
- “Multiple from list” — several values: materials, purpose.
- “Color” — values with color swatches on the storefront.
- “Number” — weight, volume, power, with a unit.
- “Yes / no” — a flag: machine washable, has a warranty.
- “Text” — free text. It can’t be a filter.
Add to a product
On the product page: the “Attributes” block → “Attribute”. There are ready-made ones: “Brand”, “Color”, “Size”, “Weight”, “Dimensions”, “Barcode”. Empty attributes don’t show on the site.
Storefront filters
- “Catalog filter” — buyers can narrow products down by this attribute.
- “On the product page” — show it in the product’s attribute table.
- The order in the attribute list is the order of the storefront filters. Drag to change it.
- One value written two ways (say, “Black” and “black”) can be combined with “Merge into…”.
TIP
Give attributes the “Weight”, “Length”, “Width” and “Height” roles — those values then go into the Nova Poshta waybill on their own.
